•• Many thanks to our speakers, the exhibitors, and to all who attended this workshop. A very enjoyable afternoon with some useful and interesting points arising from the discussion, and renewed interest in setting up the mooted UK Vets Digital Imaging Group. For further news on this and other PACS-related topics, please visit the home page regularly. Podcasts from our speakers will be posted on this site soon! ••

Come and join us for a chance to explore the basics of setting up a PACS storage system to manage and organise clinical images, to provide them to any workstation with the practice, enabling them to be manipulated and compared between modalities and over time.
This second workshop, in Newbury, will focus on what's involved in setting up a central store of images, and how using inexpensive Dicom viewing software for diagnosis and reporting, can help the modern vet.
Our speakers will share their experiences of PACS – both tips and pitfalls - and there will opportunities to discuss the key issues informally with others attending the workshop and with the exhibitors. There will be a full demonstration of OsiriX for Mac OS X Snow Leopard.
